Funnest shoot I've ever been on. :) Ben wanted to do themed pictures, and came up with the hillbilly idea, Shar put it all together... stick a few adorable kids in there and, voila, or maybe "yee haw"?

Aren't they a gorgeous couple? They've been married for a bit now, and it's interesting how much your relationship changes. You can see the difference from your engagements and wedding pics, and it's nice to have updated pictures for your walls, especially if you don't have kids yet!! Let me know if you want some updated "couple" shots, I'm getting some of me and Nate soon, and I'm super excited!

I love when you can find a place to shoot that gives you so many ideas. :) Me and my older sister went out for another of our shoots (I probably do a session with her about once a year) in Orem. I learn more and more every time! Here's a few of my favorites. Tell me what you think. I'm having a lot of fun playing with toning and blurry vignettes, can you tell?

Eloise (The Musical)

Eloise is a musical that Nate (my husband) and I are in the process of writing (he's the one doing most of the writing I admit... and he's the musical genius, I just help with the story ideas and the awesome artwork). Eloise is a mental asylum, which actually existed. Our story is set turn of the century. It's a ghost/love story. You have to hear the first song. I'm in love with it! I can't wait to actually get it finished and get it put on. Go check it out at eloisethemusical.blogspot.com.
I decided to finish the cd as one of my projects at school. I got one of my friends, Hilary (isn't she gorgeous?) and my niece Aulora to model for me, checked out some awesome costumes, and we went to Academy Square to do the shoot. I love so much how it all turned out! I will be posting more as soon as I can save the rest of them (from my evil external harddrive that decided it didn't like me anymore).
